On March 20th, representatives from each Open Government Partnership (OGP) participating government were provided with BRIEFING MATERIALS, so that they may understand the application requirements for the Open Government Awards and the recommended process for nominating and selecting one initiative for each OGP participating government, as the subject of each application. Those recommendations include engaging local Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) in the nomination and selection of each initiative, so that both public and private stakeholders may participate.
